This home make-over is situated within the well-known Southdowns Residential Estate in Irene. The owners wanted their home to be turned into a more contemporary farm-style dwelling complimenting the farmland setting.

By incorporating just a few changes we were able to turn this home into a contemporary farm-style home. On the western facade a barn-style open plan home office shields the home form the setting afternoon sun.

A rather big patio was included on the northern façade where the family can dine and relax after a busy day. This entire area can be closed off by means of big frameless glass folding stacking doors should the need arise.
